Engineering & Road Department will apply a fog seal on several roads in Mesilla Park starting Thursday, Mar. 14 through Friday, Mar. 22.

The roads will remain open for traffic but access may be reduced to a single lane. The roads are San Bonifacio Arc, San Leonardo Court, San Pascual Street, Sanctuary Avenue, Santa Lucia Arcade and Santanova Arc.

A fog seal is an application of a specially formulated asphalt emulsion, or thin liquid oil to seal narrow cracks, restore some flexibility to the pavement surface and help preserve its underlying structure.

Doña Ana County is committed to minimizing traffic disruptions. However, delays are expected during road maintenance. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, follow traffic signs and be cautious near personnel and equipment, in the area.
