 Deputy Fire Chief - Under administrative direction, plans, directs, coordinates, and administers the operations, functions, and activities of the county's fire prevention, fire operations, career staff, volunteer recruitment and retention, training, fire prevention, EMS, Haz Mat, logistics, facilities and emergency medical programs, as assigned. The Fire Department protects the lives of residents and their property through fire prevention and education, firefighting and Emergency Medical Services response. The department also leads fire investigations, reviews building-plans, peprforms occupancy inspections, administers ambulance service contracts and provides training and oversight of the Office of Emergency Management.
