Doña Ana County Probate Judge Judith Ann Baca was first elected in November 2022. Her term began Jan. 1, 2023 and runs through Dec. 31, 2027.

The Doña Ana County Probate Judge decides legal matters related with estates of deceased persons. Probate cases may be opened for decedents with or without a will.

All new probate applications and inquiries pertaining to existing cases will be addressed by Judge Baca and/or Probate Judge Assistant Norma Roberts.

Applicants may also receive individual consultations from Judge Baca on new applications and existing cases, on a walk in basis.

  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Norma Roberts may be reached at 575-525-6115 normar@aprender-a-bailar.com. Office hours:

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for a lunch hour from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
