Doña安娜县, NM - The southern region of Doña安娜县 is now better equipped to handle emergencies with the official opening of the new 火 Station 2 located at 3230 Anthony Drive in Anthony, NM, following a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Wednesday, 3月13日. The event marked the presence of what now will serve as a hub for training and infrastructure for the southern part of Doña安娜县.

Because local school districts are on Spring Break, young children engaged with firefighters, took turns sitting in fire trucks and received Junior 火fighter parting gifts.

"This station represents a huge milestone for us, and especially the services we can provide for Doña安娜县," 火 Chief Shannon Cherry said. "This station was designed to house career firefighter staff 24 hours a day, 一周7天, and to support other regional emergency response. Over the next few weeks, the final touches will be added, with an expected full operation date of May 1."
